So, what's happening is also interesting because Seb's fundamental thing is his magic is evil.
But what if he had magic which was not fundamentally related to the magic that he was kind of given by the cloaked figure, and instead had magic that came instead of his own conviction?
So now it's kind of good as magic, rather than just only evil magic.
So that would be the Paladin version.
The only problem is, mechanically, it's terrible for level eight, which you're probably not going to agree with.

I mean, I think Paladin makes a lot of sense right now.
The other option is I multi-classed into fighter.
And that option, I talk to the nation, and what I would do is I would increase my charisma from 13
to 12, which is a perfectly fine thing to do without making any mechanical changes, and then correspondingly up my constitution from 11 to a small switch, which gives me much more health and gives me better attacks and better healing.
It's better for all sides compared to power.
Except that I would be down, like, magic's not enough to cut it, like, I don't get to give extra, I'm going to run into this and just die.
i feel like paladin's a lot more narratively compelling given that you're having a strong change of heart and you just had an encounter with a divine being or are you a paladin of the hand multi-class into fighter but flavor it as if you were a paladin sounds good sounds good that's that title i i i kind of like it if only because i've been like for the last six levels

From my perspective, there's two ways to go if we want to, you know, try to have the biggest impact here.
One, if we want to involve ourselves in the war directly.

We'd have to try to find an audience of people and try to shift people's pieces around more towards peace.
Or we could find out more about the Flame, which could be dealt hard directly, but maybe find out more about the Harathema or whatever.

Those seem like two reasonable directions.

The band-aid solution is temporary, whereas, you know, if we try to strike at the center, which might, I mean, also might not be the flame, right, but it's just a hypothesis, but it seems oddly coinciding.

So we should be able to get information about the clipped mage, which should tell us about the flame.
